Saw The Forgotten Army - Azaadi ke liye last evening.
They just showed pre independence war juxtaposed with a modern day conflict.
Something we have already seen in Rang De Basanti (2006)
Kabir Khan made his directorial debut with a documentary titled The Forgotten Army in 1999 which was aired by Doordarshan; and during a promotional talk, Kabir Khan said the current series is a project that is 20 years in the making, based on his initial documentary.[3][4] The trailer released on 7 January 2020.[1] The shooting took place in location such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Mumbai.
While I like stuff about Bose and Azad Hind Fauj.. but this series.. is nothing special.
