Search handbrake encoding tutorials for ripping DVDs, if you find tinkering with AviSynth too tedious.

Can you tell me how to play DishTV recorded pen drive on PC.
The file created is in TS format but has no media info.
I know its encrypted and maybe DRM protected.
I read a lot of video converters who removes DRM while format conversion but here the TS file is not detected as video in any video player or converter.
If I use some file decrypter then it asks key.
Any idea about it??

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login First of all you have to find out which drm is used and how is it's implementation.As it doew not use internet, the key should be stored in the STB.So,you have to crack the dishtv software inside the STB to grab the key.

OR You can simply use capture card with hdmi if it doesn't use hdcp to record it and play on pc.But if you share it anywhere then don't forget to hide your account information displayed on screen from time to time.

Excuse me, I'd like to have advice/a tutorial for troublesome m4a files I have. I can't play them anywhere: every player* I've tried crash. I haven't the same problem with the other m4a files downloaded in the other sites, though.

I've downloaded them on the website which offers Bollywood music in different formats, m4a and different mp3s, for free. The site categorizes the m4a files as "iTunes files" which I suppose to be the original files whereas the mp3 versions of the same songs are the lossy conversions of them. There is no problem in playing the mp3s downloaded in the site.

I assume the problem is with the DRM protection. Is there a way to remove it for free and keep the file in its original format?

*Well, I haven't tried iTunes itself because it can't be used for synchronizing with Android device.
